At our Megaro Eatery here in King’s Cross, we just launched our special native lobster menu.
As always, we have a sharp focus on the integrity of our ingredients. We source the freshest and finest native lobsters, harvested from the waters of the British Isles.
Our native lobster menu offers three glorious courses for just £24.50, a summertime taste of the British coast in the heart of the city.
- Native lobster home-made tagliatelle, with a lobster bisque foam
- Half native lobster, cooked on the Josper grill, served with triple cooked chips, Choron sauce and young leaves
- Roasted figs in port, with fig leaf ice cream
We’re very proud of our home-made pasta, and this tagliatelle is no exception. Served with tender pieces of native lobster, peppers and our home-made lobster bisque foam, it makes a fantastic starter.
Cooking the lobster on our Josper grill enhances the flavour, and brings some fabulous barbecue notes to the dish. Truly special. The Choron sauce, a Bearnaise sauce with tomato puree and diced tomato, is almost too delicious.
The grilled figs in port rounds off the menu, with the delicate fig leaf ice cream cleansing the palate.
